Stripping & Refinishing Painted Ceiling Beams

This was a recent job that was completed on-site. The customer wanted her three ceiling beams to be stripped and refinished in a stain to match her floors. We removed the old trim on each side and replaced with new, finishing it to match the beams.
BEFORE

MY FESTOOL "STRIPPING" SANDER HAD TO BE USED TO TAKE THE BEAMS BACK DOWN TO RAW WOOD SINCE THERE WERE TWO LAYERS OF PAINT. THIS WAS USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH MY FESTOOL DUST COLLECTOR SO PAINT DUST WOULD NOT ESCAPE INTO THE AIR.
STRIPPED

AFTER: BEAMS WERE REFINISHED IN AMERICAN WALNUT WITH A COAT OF SATIN CLEAR
