From ordinary and old to WOW!

Do you look at your kitchen cabinets sometimes and feel unsatisfied with the way they look? These are the stories that I hear when I get calls to refinish furniture and kitchen cabinets. Installing brand new cabinetry in your kitchen can be really expensive and can cause headaches when it comes to measuring. If you are wanting new cabinets why not refinish what you have. It's affordable and the results are stunning. The Painted Door just completed a kitchen cabinet refinish job and we have posted the before and after photos. The color was a creamy white picked out by the customer from a cabinet magazine which we matched. We also cleaned and refinished their hardware (handles and hinges) in an oil rubbed bronze finish. The doors were slightly antiqued with a small amount of glaze on the inside corners to give depth. We then clear coated the doors and built-ins with lacquer (the best clear coat for cabinets) for protection. Give us a call if you are interested in refinishing your cabinets or have questions about the process. Enjoy the photos!
