Total Makeovers in Furniture

This piece was originally a dark stained finish and had some damage to the clear coat on the top. We refinished it in a distressed satin black finish and then clear coated it for protection.

This Hope Chest was also finished in a dark stain and had some wood damage. We fixed the damage and then finished it in a antique/distressed two tone (Antique White & Sea Salt). This piece was going in a girl's room so it had to be cute, but look old at the same time. So we added a brown monogram at the top for decorative flair.
You don't have to live with your ugly or damaged furniture, and you don't need to throw it away. You would be amazed at what we can do here at The Painted Door with any piece you have. From Authentic Antique Finishes and Faux Finishes to plain Traditional Finishes, we can do it all. Give us a call or email us and tell us what you have. We would be happy to assist you in color and finish choices.
